"Making a world of difference - Proving every child is exceptional!"

"When I got the concussion, I would have never made it through without your techniques. Carrying 26 credits in Chiropractic College and wandering around with half my wits, I was still able to pass all my classes and press on to now have a GPA of 3.1 in a world where many inch through with a 2.3."- Bobbi Blair, Dallas, TX

Q: My child has Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity, and I’m worried he won’t be able to sit through a two-day workshop. Would the video tape series be better?

A: How about a story . . . A 13-year-old girl, Rebecca, had ADHD and could NOT sit through an entire 40 minute class in school. Her mom, knowing she wouldn’t last the 7 hours, sat outside the door awaiting her rebellion. Not only did she stay the full two days with no problems, but she asked to repeat both days. So, my suggestion is the workshop would be most effective, because it’s live and interactive. Unless you were to do small amounts of the tape series together, I’d suggest the two-day workshop. You can always get the tape series as a follow-up if you feel it’s necessary. Also remember, it’s only $50 to repeat the full workshop.

Q: Should I take the workshop with my child, and if I do, is that a separate charge?

A: If your child is 10-12 years old, my answer is an emphatic YES! Because you can help reinforce all she has learned in the two days. It takes more maturity to put into practice the techniques one has learned. It’s also good to remind pre-teens that those techniques that worked so well in the workshop will be even more effective in school. If your child is a teenager (13 years or above) the answer is still YES, unless your teen is in a severe rebellion against you. If that were the case, coming would do more damage. But, if it’s just normal teenage rebellion, then YES come together. It will enhance your relationship further! (I had one student beg me not to tell her mom she had such a good time.J ) Also, there is a separate fee for each person. Remember this is as much for you, as an adult, as it is for him/her.

Q: How will I get my teenager to come to a weekend workshop?

A: Coax him gently, then give him this choice, "If it’s awful, if you haven’t enhanced your learning and if you’re not having a GREAT time, you can leave in two hours." You (dad) will get a full refund. I’ve never had anyone leave.

Q: Is this for adults? And if it is how will it help me? I’m in the midst of a career shift.

A: YES! Of course! Learning doesn’t stop in school. You will not only gain the confidence to pursue your new interests, but you’ll also discover specific tools that help you accomplish tasks and goals faster and with greater ease. Remember, you’ll be discovering your strengths and how to make learning EASY by creatively using those strengths.

Q: I’m a single parent and as much as I know this will help my daughter, I just can’t afford it. Do you have any suggestions?

A: I don’t EVER want money to stop ANYONE from experiencing this workshop. We have payment programs as low as $25 per month and if that’s not acceptable, e-mail me and we’ll try to work out a solution!

Q: I live in Texas, do you ever facilitate workshops here?

A: I will travel anywhere in the world, if someone puts a group together for me. Otherwise, I suggest you try the EmpowerMind for Teens video/audio series. In 30 days, if you aren’t completely satisfied, you can return it at no charge.

Q: What’s different about the content in EmpowerMind for Teens vs. the EmpowerMind workshop?

A: The video/audio tape series has all the workshop information in it and much more. It adds: prioritizing, problem solving, how to memorize information verbatim, how to write term papers and how to get through to your teen. The techniques are helpful for everyone and the audience is filled with high-spirited teens. It really speaks to the teenage group.

Q: My child is an honor roll student. Why should she take the workshop?

A: If she spends little time studying, has high self-esteem, is a great communicator, has a balanced life and doesn’t plan on going to a tough college, then she may not need it. Otherwise, she’ll learn to cut her study time in half and maintain her honor roll status. Plus, even if she’s doing well now, once she goes to a tough college she’s likely to experience defeat when she must compete with the best. It makes learning to learn imperative for her success and for her to sustain balance in her life.

Q: I’m old. My memory is going . . . will this help an old geezer like me?

A: You’re not an old geezer! That’s just a mind-set. I guarantee I will show you how to remember things you never thought you were capable of remembering. I’ve had workshop participants who were almost 80 years old leave the workshop feeling "brilliant" as a result of mastering a stronger practical memory application to rely upon in their lives.

Q: I’m a businessman so wouldn’t it be better for me to just have private sessions with you?

A: It may be; however, it’s less expensive and more productive to begin with the workshop. We personally fine-tune your concerns, issues and goals in a one-on- one session, but the workshop gives you a better idea of what these things that need "fine tuning" are.

Q: Could we just try a tutor for my 10 year old first?

A: You can do whatever YOU choose. I also tutor any age that can read.

Q: I’ve had a lot of bad experiences learning in school. I’m concerned about what might happen in the workshop.

A: It’s completely safe. It’s MY fault (and I say this immediately) if I teach you anything that you cannot understand or accomplish. There is NO pressure and remember the guarantee. It’s completely loving and safe. If you don’t LOVE it, you can leave in just two hours and get a full refund!

Q: Can I take the first half one month and the second half-another month?

A: Yes, you can if you HAVE to do it this way. You’ll gain the same information, but lose continuity with the group. I realize people have busy schedules. However, you MUST take the first half before the second half.

Q: Do you teach this to businesses, schools, teachers and organizations?

A: EmpowerMind will help everyone! I’ve taught it to all the above and will teach it to anyone over 9 years old; I tutor any student who can read. I also call myself a "life coach" who helps adult students and non-students, alike, to achieve their goals.

Q: Are you a teacher? Where did you learn all of this?

A: Please read my biography for more information on my background and experience.

Q: How does it work with teens and adults in the same workshop?

A: The EmpowerMind process is about self-discovery. Each individual, no matter the age or learning style, discovers what works best for them. Examples, techniques and exercises are provided that reach each age group and all learning styles. It actually helps the workshop come even more alive and more stimulating with the two blended age groups participating.
